I thought i could expect charm and luxury, but my "upgraded" room was full of dust and lacked character, disappoining. I ordered a mojito, and it was just rum with barely any effort put into it-12.5€ for that? Unbelievable. I just couldn't write a good review, .

A brilliant concept, well executed, in a most interesting part of the city. Superb staff - friendly, helpful & well-informed.
Two tiny faults: the pillows are dreadful and the safe in our room was not anchored to anything.

It is an excellent hotel, very modern and unusually quirky. All facilities were excellent and so was the food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Charming small and well priced place all in all, has very attentive staff in a professional yet friendly manner by all staff encountered. The hotel offers an enjoyable breakfast with scrambled eggs. 15 minutes drive to the airport, it is located near the Erasmus bridge.

Luxurious Suites, Artistic Decor, Engaging Historical Surroundings
Noise from traffic at night was unbearable!!! Lack of unobstructed views from premium suites is disappointing!!! Charging €40 for a late check-out feels excessive and could use some reconsideration!!!

Location - it was close to the office (i was on business trip), but also close to the city if you want to dine somewhere nice (>10 min by car). Staff was very friendly. I had a car and parked on the street front of the hotel with no cost.
The mini bar is very pricy, so you should bring your own drinks with you if you do not like the tap water.

The staff was very helpful offering advice about what to see and how to get there. Public transportation is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If available, try to book a room with the 17 foot ceiling. Warm water falling from the shower head 17 feet above is almost like taking a shower in a tropical rain storm.

I appreciate very much the kindness of the hotel 's staff and the hotel generally.
The city is probably the last place of Holland to be visited. Not too nice people around the city....

Excellent attention to details. The owner is obviously well traveled and incorporated the best concept into each hotel room. It feels more like a temporary home than hotel. Staffs were very nice and helpful. Definitely will stay there again next time in Rotterdam.
Just include the breakfast into the room price and offer it to guests.
